# Groups

**Patient Groups** are located under the Profile section. You can use patient groups to segment profiles by some specific parameter, which could be useful especially for marketing/analytics purposes, for example, when sending an email newsletter to some segment of patients.

Also, you can configure groups that are visible in the main calendar (color + icon)

### Create/Edit Groups

Click on the **Select Groups** button to edit existing patient groups. In the opened window, Select/unselect checkboxes for active/inactive groups, and click on the <mark style="background-color:green;">Save Groups</mark> button.
