# Simple Notes

A simple note is an appointment without a patient record attached. You can use it in many ways, for example, to block a specific user time slot for booking, or assign a generic task for that particular date & time.

### Create Note

To add a new time slot, click on the empty calendar cell, the same way how you add new appointments, then switch from **Appointment** to the **Note** tab.
