Clinical notes are recorded during the patient appointment and related to the patient treatment process.
Dentaltap - Clinical Notes Open the Patient Profile and switch from Dental Chart to the Clinical Notes tab.
You can use filters by the note type or view All Notes.

Create Simple Note
Enter the note text, and click on the Create Note button to confirm (3).
Create Template Note
Click on the Use Templates button. In the opened window choose the template, and replace placeholders (marked in blue color Select..., if any). Optionally, you can select teeth numbers, if that note is applied only for specific teeth. Click on the Create Template button to confirm.
Dentaltap - Create Note from Tempalte Now you can see your template, with applied placeholders. The content of the note can be edited before you submit it. Click on the Create Note button to confirm.

Any note can be marked as important. Important notes are visible in the calendar and highlighted at the top when you open a patient profile.
Add to important
To mark a note as important, click on the Start icon (see the screen below).

To remove a note from important notes, click on the Star icon once again, from the notes list, or from the important notes list
Dentaltap - Important Notes List To edit a note, click on it to open the details. Click on the Save Changes button to save edited version, or Cancel button to return to the latest version.
To Delete a note, click on the 
icon and confirm the action.
