# Estimate Plans

With estimate plans, you can create and present different treatment options for your patients without affecting the main Patient Dental Chart. 

Once the estimate was approved by a patient, all of the procedures will be merged into the main Patient Dental Chart.

1. Open the Patient Profile and click on the **Estimates** menu item at the top.
2. Click on the **New Estimate** button to create a new estimate.
3. You can see all the estimates in the list, click on it to open the details.
4. Estimate Actions - **Discount**, **Set Status**, and more to Print, Rename, and Delete. 

### Create Procedures

You can add procedures to the treatment plan in the same way as described in [procedures](https://dentaltap.gitbook.io/dentaltap/treatments-1/procedures "mention")

### Create Stages

Once you added several procedures, you can split them into stages. A stage means a dental appointment, so the treatment plan can be completed in several visits.

Select one or several procedures, and then click on the **Stage** button at the top. Select the next stage, for example, Stage 3, to confirm.

### Edit/Delete Procedures

You can edit/delete procedures in the treatment plan in the same way as described in [procedures](https://dentaltap.gitbook.io/dentaltap/treatments-1/procedures "mention")
